SOUTH LLANO RIVER ST. PARK

On a hot July day, I packed my gear and drove south to Junction Texas. There I checked in to South Llano River State Park and was greeted by the most friendly staff. They had told me on the phone earlier the Black cap Verio was there. Upon arriving and getting settled in I checked out the many blinds in which I would be hopeful to find the rare Warbler. And as luck would have it on my last morning it appeared along with two of its young, in great light, I snapped away. The many other birds you see in this journey are just a blessing. I highly recommend the State Park to anyone interested in nature, peacefulness, and photography.
